About the Pacific Northwest
Gastroenterology Society
The PNWGS is an educational society representing a membership of 225 gastroenterologists located primarily
in Western Washington. The membership includes adult and pediatric gastroenterologists practicing in both
academic and private arenas. In addition, surgeons and pathologists with an interest in GI surgery and pathology

annual operating budget. From being able to invite nationally known speakers to maintaining
our presence at a high-quality venue, such as the Harbor Club in Downtown Seattle, your
dues help us to successfully host our annual
Meet the Professor Evening Program.
We hope that you will join us for this year’s program
and that you are looking forward to the opportunity to meet and network with other University
of Washington and private practice professionals from throughout the Northwest region, hear
about the latest advances in research and patient care, and participate in lively discussions
about the practice of gastroenterology. In addition, we hope you enjoy some fine dining with
friends and colleagues, along with a spectacular view of Puget Sound! Once again, we greatly
